Some of the ministries we participate in are part of the American Baptist Churches quarterly missions or World missions.
World Mission: This is an international ministry that reaches out to a hurting world, supports faithful partners that are actively sharing God's message of hope, love and healing. The Offering helps people everywhere to come to Christ, grow in their relationships to God and change their world through the power of the Holy Spirit.
America for Christ: This ministry supports missions in the United States and Puerto Rico through evangelism training, church renewal and discipleship resources, volunteer disaster response plus initiatives that fight poverty.
One Great Hour of Sharing: This ministry is an offering that provides monetary donations to areas suffering from natural disasters. Like the Baptist Church of Franklin, this is one offering that numerous church denominations support.
White Cross: The White Cross Ministry- During WW I many church women assisted the American Red Cross by providing surgical dressings, bandages, and other medical supplies for U.S. service personnel. In 1919, following the end of the war, two American Baptist women from Cleveland, Ohio organized the “White Cross Service League,” channeling the war effort into support for Baptist mission. The White Cross has been embraced by local churches throughout the United States by providing necessary items for various missionaries who make their request through the American Baptist Churches like ours.
RMMO: Retired Ministers & Missionaries Offering is a personal offering, one rooted in thanks for the countless ways ministers and missionaries guide each member of the church along their spiritual journey. RMMO showcases this gratitude by offering your congregation, along with retired ministers and missionaries, a chance to say: THANK YOU.
Over the years, we may remember many Ministers and Missionaries WHO made many positive impacts on our lives and the live of others. This Offering is a gift to them that assists in home repairs and pays for medical, dental and prescription expenses.
Samaritan's Purse: Provides Christmas shoe box gifts to children around the world. Ministry is also known as Operation Christmas Child which starts each year in October to mid November. Please visit our event page for updates.
